We are always happy to connect with families who may be interested in welcoming one of our puppies into their homes.

Because breeding and raising puppies is a journey filled with many things that simply cannot be predicted in advance, we have chosen not to maintain a traditional waiting list.

Instead, we invite interested families to stay connected, follow our journey, and keep up with our upcoming litters, nursery babies, and available puppies.

💕 Why We Do Not Maintain a Traditional Waiting List

At Small and Mighty Chihuahuas, we have chosen not to maintain a traditional waiting list or accept deposits before our puppies are born.

Breeding and raising puppies involves many things that simply cannot be predicted in advance. We never want to accept and hold someone's money while waiting for a particular puppy that may not be born, may not be the right fit, or may become unavailable due to circumstances beyond anyone's control.

Sometimes the puppy a family is hoping for may not be produced in a particular litter, sometimes people fall in love with a different puppy, and unexpected circumstances can occasionally affect a litter or an individual puppy. Waiting for another appropriate puppy could take many months—and in some cases, even longer.

Rather than asking families to commit money and then potentially wait through multiple litters, we feel it is simpler and more fair to wait until our puppies are here, thriving, and beginning to show us who they are.

Once our puppies are approximately 2–3 weeks of age, we begin sharing information and accepting deposits for puppies that are available for reservation.

In the meantime, families are encouraged to Stay Connected and follow our updates about upcoming litters and available puppies—without the complications of a traditional waiting list or holding deposits for an unknown amount of time.

We believe this approach allows families to make their decisions with more information and helps keep the process simple, clear, and fair for everyone. 💕

Our application is simply a way for us to get to know you and learn more about the loving home you hope to provide.

At Small and Mighty Chihuahuas, our first responsibility is always to the health, happiness, and lifelong well-being of our puppies. Because of this, we carefully consider each potential home to help ensure that every puppy is placed with a loving and appropriate family.

If you would like to receive updates about upcoming litters or available puppies and may be interested in welcoming one of our babies into your home, we kindly ask that you complete our Puppy Application.

Our application is simply a way for us to get to know you and learn more about the loving home you hope to provide.

Completing an application allows us to learn a little more about you, your home, and the type of puppy you may be looking for. It also helps us keep your information up to date and determine whether a Small and Mighty Chihuahua may be a good fit for your family.

Please understand that completing an application does not reserve or guarantee a puppy. All potential homes are carefully considered, and our goal is always to make the best possible match for both our puppies and their future families.

Tell us a little about yourself, your home, and the type of Chihuahua you may be hoping to welcome into your family.

Step Two — Application Review

We carefully review each application to help determine whether one of our puppies may be a good fit for your home.

Step Three — Stay Connected

Approved families are welcome to join our Puppy Update List and stay connected as we share news about upcoming litters and puppies.

Step Four — Follow Our Puppies' Journey

Keep an eye on our website as our litters are announced, puppies arrive, and our precious babies grow in the nursery.

Step Five — Available Puppies

When our puppies are old enough and ready for us to begin accepting reservations, they will be individually featured with current information about their availability.
