Once you’ve committed to one of our babies, our relationship continues. ❤️

I’ll keep you updated as your puppy grows and develops, so you can share in those precious moments along the way.

I know waiting for your baby can feel like forever—but it’s also such an exciting part of the journey.

We want to make that waiting time special, because before you know it…

that little face you’ve been waiting for will be looking right back at you. 🐾❤️

Deposits are accepted once a puppy listed on our Available Puppies page is approximately 2–3 weeks old.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your chosen puppy and may be sent through one of our approved online payment options. Once received, I will begin preparing your contract and getting everything ready for your new baby.

A puppy will not be held without a deposit unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Your deposit is non-refundable unless your puppy develops a health issue. In that event, you may choose a full refund or transfer your deposit to another available puppy.

Your deposit reserves your puppy until he or she is ready to go home, usually between 9–10 weeks of age. Going-home dates may vary depending on each puppy’s weight, development, and transition away from Momma.

Please be prepared to welcome your baby home at approximately 9 weeks of age. We will never allow a puppy to leave before they are truly ready, as their health, safety, and well-being always come first.

Adoption fees are subject to change until a deposit has been placed on a puppy.

One of the sweetest parts of reserving your baby is watching them grow before they come home! We take new photos and/or videos each weekend so you can enjoy their precious milestones.

In the event of an emergency or unexpected circumstance, we will send updates as soon as we are able. Please understand that our days are busy caring for your puppy and all of our Chihuahuas. Maintaining a regular Picture Day Schedule helps us provide each puppy with the loving care they deserve while ensuring every family receives special updates.

For the health, safety, and security of our puppies, Chihuahuas, and family, we do not allow visitors inside our home.

When meeting in person, we arrange to meet in a public location to help protect the health of our dogs and puppies and ensure everyone's safety.

Before going home, our puppies are lovingly cared for and prepared for their new families.

• Examined by our veterinarian at approximately 8 weeks of age
• Given at least one age-appropriate vaccination
• Dewormed every two weeks
• Given Revolution or a similar treatment, when old enough and appropriate, for parasite and heartworm prevention
• Microchipped before going home

When your baby goes home, you will receive a special Small and Mighty Chihuahuas Puppy Pack, including:

• Written health records
• Our puppy healthcare information
• AKC Limited Registration paperwork
• Samples of the Diamond Naturals food your puppy has been enjoying

Any adult weight listed for a puppy is an estimate only, based on the puppy's current weight and Chihuahua growth charts. While we use these tools to provide the best estimate possible, no breeder can guarantee a puppy's exact adult weight, even when the parents' weights are known.

If you are picking up your puppy in person, pickup will take place in Weatherford, Texas, usually outside the Weatherford PetSmart.

The remaining balance of your puppy's adoption fee, after the deposit has been applied, is due at pickup in cash, unless another payment arrangement has been approved in advance.

If you adopt your puppy through the Good Dog website, all payments, including deposits, must be made through the Good Dog Payment Platform.

Good Dog may charge additional fees separate from our adoption fee. Adopting directly through our website may allow you to avoid those fees.

If your baby travels with a Flight Nanny or through another approved transportation method, all transportation and related fees are the buyer's responsibility.

Unless otherwise stated, all adoption fees listed on our website are Quality Pet Prices. This means your puppy will go home with AKC Limited Registration and a Spay/Neuter Agreement.
